Buses depart the Pine Crest Fort Lauderdale campus at 2:00 p.m. and return on Saturday, April 18 at approximately 6:00 a.m. Students who wish to attend must complete this form by Friday, February 6. The cost to attend is $275. Please be advised that Universal does not offer refunds after tickets are purchased.

9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Commencement Rehearsal (FAU Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium)

Attendance is mandatory. Students must take the bus at 9:00 a.m. from the Pine Crest Fort Lauderdale campus to FAU and back. Upon returning to Pine Crest, students will receive their caps and gowns, six (6) tickets to Commencement and their 2026 yearbooks.

Registration for the Class of 2026 Senior Send Off Luncheon will be available in April 2026.

For parents who register, Pine Crest's Middle and Upper School Parents' Association looks forward to celebrating with you on Wednesday, May 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Boca West Country Club, 20583 Boca West Dr, Boca Raton, FL, 33434.

Family Photos - As you enter the venue, MUSPA volunteers will direct you and your family toward one of two Little’s Photography pop-up studios.

Seating - Seating charts will be on display, and MUSPA volunteers will be available throughout the lobby area to provide you with your family’s table number.

Dress Code - The dress code for students attending this event is business attire, for example, dresses or pants with jackets and ties.

Gate Access and Parking - Boca West is a gated community. Please allow extra time to enter the community and get to the clubhouse. A fast pass will be available as we get closer to the event. You may print the pass and display on your dashboard to show security. This will expedite entry. If you do not print the pass, be prepared to show your ID to security. Self-parking and valet parking are available at the clubhouse. Parking is complimentary.

Commencement
4:00 p.m. | FAU Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium
  • The Auditorium is located within the FAU Student Union. Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. Please note that for security reasons, guests who attempt to enter the auditorium prior to 3:00 p.m. will be asked to exit and re-enter when the doors officially open. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. and will last between 1.5 and 2 hours. Parking will be available in Parking Garage #1, which is a short walk to the Auditorium. Additional parking and handicapped-accessible drop-off are available in Lot #16. (A map is included below).

  • All guests must be seated by 3:45 p.m. to allow the seniors time to line up in the lobby.

  • Dress for students: under gowns--white or light-colored dresses paired with white or light-colored shoes; dark trousers with white shirts and dark ties paired with dress shoes and socks. Only academic cords, stoles, and Pine Crest alumni pins distributed with caps and gowns are permitted to be worn. No athletic or fine arts medals of any kind should be worn. Gowns must be zipped up. 

  • Seniors should be dressed in cap and gown in the designated area no later than 3:15 p.m. Little’s Photography will be on hand to take diploma photos and photos of graduating seniors with their peers from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. Seniors should arrive at 2:30 p.m. if they would like to have photos taken.

  • Only clear bags will be permitted:
    Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, no larger than 6.5” x 4.5,” with or without a handle or strap, can be taken into the auditorium with a clear plastic bag.
    • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed.
    • A one-gallon plastic freezer bag may also be used.
    • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the entrance.
    • Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
      • Airhorns or other artificial noisemakers.
      • Any bag larger than the permissible size
      • Backpacks
      • Balloons, glitter, and confetti
      • Banners, flags, or signs
      • Binocular Cases
      • Briefcases
      • Camera Bags (Cameras with lenses will not be permitted in the Auditorium)
      • Cinch/Drawstring Bags
      • Computers Bags
      • Coolers
      • Fanny packs
      • Firearms and weapons
      • Laser lights
      • Luggage of any kind
      • Purses
  • Guests arriving after the entrance procession has begun will not be admitted until all of the seniors are seated. The event will be live streamed on this webpage for those unable to attend.

Event Photos

During Senior Send-Off and Commencement, commemorative photographs of each graduate will be taken by Little’s Photography. You should be familiar with Little’s Photography as they have photographed senior portraits this year and for many years in the past. You will be able to order your student's photographs online soon after Commencement. Your unique individual galleries will be emailed directly to you from Little’s Photography.
