Problem solver, open and selfless, collaborative, visionary, resilient, compassionate. The future calls for emergent leaders who are team-oriented in driving innovative ideas. Their leadership is built on a belief that all members belong and have value. For each task, the right team member is empowered to step forward as the leader. Group members support and collaborate to ensure the project’s success. Emergent leadership thrives on positive relationships among team members and is built through fostering a sense of trust and belonging, making each individual more confident about their performance. Respect for one another is developed; it is earned.
The Beyer Center for Emergent Leadership will be funded through philanthropy and constructed as an addition to the Middle School on the Boca Raton campus.
The Center will include outdoor spaces for planned and spontaneous activities; a casual flex space to be used by students and faculty for studying or winding down; a library; studio spaces for innovation and robotics; and classrooms and breakout rooms for structured classes, enrichment activities, and individual/group projects.
Pine Crest students will rise by lifting others.
