Marc and Ronna Taub learned of Pine Crest in 1978 after moving to Boca Raton. They enrolled their children, David ’91 and Emily ’93 saying that Pine Crest offered the educational experience they were looking for. Almost two decades later, the couple was thrilled to hear that David and their daughter-in-law Rasheena decided to make that same decision for their young family and enroll Ella ’22 and Ari ’25.

Pine Crest always made being a good student ‘cool.’ Everyone is interested in academic excellence—I am not sure how they do it, but throughout the decades that we have been a part of this community academics have always been paramount and as a parent and a grandparent we are comforted by that.”

The Taubs have seen more than 50 years of Pine Crest’s evolution since 1978, and through that time, have been consistent supporters of our school. As Pine Crest celebrates 90 years of educating our community, we challenge our current Pine Crest families to consider what their legacy will be. We hope that you too will be moved by how Pine Crest has touched three generations of the Taub family and will join them in demonstrating your belief in our school’s mission.

I think that my dad, Ari and I have so much in common because of our upbringing at Pine Crest and the sense of community that Pine Crest breeds. I think it’s special that we developed some of our first memories in the same place.”
- Ella Taub ’22

Annual giving is the cornerstone of philanthropy at Pine Crest. It is the most meaningful way our community of parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni and friends can support Pine Crest's people, programs, and spaces.
It is what allows our faculty and staff to dream.
It is what ensures the full Pine Crest experience for each of our students.
It enables us to expand opportunities beyond what tuition can provide.
It is flexible enough to touch each year’s highest priorities—whatever they may become.

The innovation lab is one area of the school where I have seen the impact of philanthropy. Students have both hardware and software technology available to them from Lower School through Upper School. It is a space that enables them to innovate. Pine Crest pushes the boundaries of what we can do—teaching differently, experimenting and exploring ways to educate the next generation. Philanthropy allows Pine Crest to take chances and try new things.
- David Taub ’91

The professional development that has been available to faculty and staff has been really powerful for me as a parent to know about. There is something extraordinarily beautiful about the organization understanding that this is an educational environment and that it extends to faculty and staff. That emphasis on education for me is an incredible statement of priority. It directly impacts the children but it also says something about Pine Crest, it's declarative about what kind of institution this is. We are lifelong learners in every position.”
- Rasheena Taub

I hope Pine Crest is a school where people can grow and continue to be educated and supported for years to come. It is an establishment in our community, and we want to contribute to making sure it is there for always.”
